Evidence Before Narrative
We separate what was observed from what was reported, assumed, or disputed.
NEON CAIRN Security Consulting helps data center owners and security integrators understand the status, evidence, blockers, and next decisions on physical security integration projects.
Nicolaus Sleister is a data center and physical security project leader whose documented experience includes operations supervision and project management for mission-critical security integration work.
His professional background includes coordinating mission-critical data center security integration projects with reported project values ranging from $3 million to $6.5 million. He has led teams through schedule pressure, scope changes, procurement and labor constraints, while rebuilding project visibility and supporting customer and leadership decisions.
Before founding NEON CAIRN, Nicolaus held data center operations leadership roles at Convergint, security operations management at REI, physical security operations roles at Salesforce, and site security leadership roles at Allied Universal.
NEON CAIRN’s work is independent project review and management support. We make evidence limits visible and stay within the written scope; we do not take the place of the engineer of record, commissioning agent, system installer, or authority having jurisdiction.
We turn available project evidence, schedule logic, and accountable ownership into decisions that support responsible recovery.
Our method is designed to be useful under pressure and clear about what the evidence can support.
We separate what was observed from what was reported, assumed, or disputed.
We state constraints plainly, with the basis and uncertainty visible.
We connect next actions to owners, due dates, and evidence of completion.
Project review does not replace engineering, inspection, certification, or full commissioning.
We focus on causes, consequences, and practical next steps under pressure.
We aim to leave clearer ownership and useful controls the client can continue using.
Travelers built cairns as landmarks on unfamiliar paths. NEON CAIRN combines that idea of a steady marker with the clarity of a signal: establish where a project stands, identify what obscures the route, and help leaders choose the next practical step.
We will define what can be reviewed and where the limits are before work begins.
